Our Why
I started with asking a simple question:
What is one thing people do that AI cannot do?
My answer?
Live.
In response, my team and I set out to build Exposure, a company focused on the human knowledge layer that is lived experiences.
Let me explain.
AI relies on data. Before lived experience becomes data AI can use, people have to process and publish it in a format AI can access. The real world doesn't wait though. Every day, people are discovering new things and sharing unique experiences before they ever get published or shared online. Too busy doing something exciting? Posting can wait. Find a new restaurant with no online presence and no menu? That's awesome because no AI scrape will find it. Built a lifetime of expertise navigating complex real world experiences like climbing a mountain? AI can't replicate. So, next time you start worrying because mainstream marketing sells you AI is all powerful and replacing you is easy, remember this: AI is actually slow, needs you to provide net-new information, and can only replace some of the things you do to make a living but cannot replace living itself.
If this inspired you to share the value of your experiences, join us on Exposure and help us build a real time human knowledge layer based on lived experiences where you can learn directly from the real source of information: people.
